accessing the practice

Transportation to the practice:
If you require public transportation to the practice the local bus services are the ‘199’ and ’61’, which stop on Market Street (main road). You would then need to make your way on foot to the practice.
If you require wheelchair transport please contact your local taxi services.

Parking facilities:
Free public car park with some disabled spaces available (3) at the canal basin, alternatively 1 hour public parking on canal street and market street.

All footpaths are lowered outside the practice for wheelchair access (ramp outside the building).

Mobility access:
A lift is available for wheelchair or mobility assistance.

We would like to make patients aware that the nurses and dentists wont be able to assist in transferring patients from the wheelchair to the dental chair. We recommend bringing carers or family members to assist in this matter if needed. (We can provide limited treatment if a patient is unable to transfer).

Translation:
We at Goyt Valley Dental practice can unfortunately not offer translation services. We ask if you need this service to bring your own translator or a family member who can translate for you. (For reference we predominantly speak English at our dental practice).

Breast feeding:

We are part of the breast feeding welcome here award, we support breast feeding at our Practice and we can also offer a comfortable private space with baby changing facilities and a glass of water for parents if they prefer this or if this is required.
