Our Mission Statement

Here at Goyt Valley Dental Practice, we are passionate & committed to making changes to become a more sustainable practice.

The climate and biodiversity crisis poses a major threat to human health and even more so to the health of future generations. As a healthcare provider we have a responsibility to help create a more sustainable future. Goyt Valley Dental Practice aims to provide safe, high-quality patient care and preventative advice. It is recognised that in doing so, our services will have an impact on the environment. However, together, through embedding sustainability in to all our practice policies, continually assessing and adjusting our individual daily actions, and through inspiring positive behaviour change amongst our colleagues, suppliers and patients, we aim to significantly lessen our impact on the local and global environment.

We have registered with Green Impact, an internationally recognised sustainability learning and awards scheme, as we wish to utilise their advice and support to help us to bring about positive changes.

We have introduced a range of eco friendly oral health aids that are available to purchase from Reception.

We have also signed up to become a public drop-off point for the Philips Dental Care Recycling Programme. Please feel free to recycle your items here regardless of whether you are a patient with us or not. Please see below the items that are accepted and not accepted under the programme:
